Default Quiet CAI?

I've had the K&N FIPK for awhile now, and I'm tired of the noise. What are my choices for a quiet CAI? This is for an '00 5.3. Thanks!

I would be willing to bet that anything with an open element will be audible, try a closed box intake, volant, s&b, something like that.

I hear the noise with my AEM but I like it though. the filter is the biggest i've seen for our trucks(kinda makes it hard to remove and clean). maybe thats why? IDK but I would think a boxed in filter would be quieter.

Outlaw's are very quiet and a little less expensive.

Well if you want the most power i would say AEM i saw a dyno with this and many other cai's and this dynoed the best, then again all trucks are different and anything is better than stock. It is also cheaper than the K&N. I have it and the only time i hear it is when im slowing down. I can barely hear it but its just a slight whistle for a few seconds. If you pop the hood you can really hear it espically when you cut the truck off is has a sucking noise.

What about a hole in the bottom of your stock airbox to get some cold air from the air dam area?
