Default quick question...

Long story short i was wondering what the pros, and cons are for running a elc cut out? any issues with tuning and such or is it needed? My trucks super loud but i been thinking of getting a new muffler but maybe getting a cut out when im not around the house.

Pros more power, no restrictions,
Cons very loud, disturbing the peace tickets!

Make sure its a quality part tho, cheaper ones are prone to leaking and valve failure

mine was about two feet from where my y-piped merged. i'm turbo'd now but its basically right under the rear seat, passenger side.

didn't notice any power difference, but i never had a re-tune with it open vs. closed

everyone loves to open it up when they ride in my truck, lol

i have the DMH 3'' cut-out 4 year warranty, you cant beat it

I was referring to the valve in the actual cut out itself sticking open or closed. As far as where to install, that's on you. Anywhere from past the manifolds/headers to before the muffler. Best location IMO is right after manifold
