okay that did the job. i used the 14mm one and knocked it in with a hammer and loosened it.

The bolt head on mine totally twisted off. I don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe the hammer thing would work. But if anyone has any tips for my situation please post them. It has been like that for a few months but it would be nice to have a functional drain plug.

u should go out and buy it, its only $20 and im sure youll use it again and again.
after i new i wasnt gunna get it out, i went to town on it. it was pretty bad and i got it out pretty easy with the magic socket

well the same thing happened to me. i stripped the bolt bad and i tried everything. i still did manage to change the tranny oil by just taking down the whole pan but you do make a big mess. anyways what do you all think about that bolt to get it out or should i just buy a new pan with a new bolt.

Z71 thanks for the tip! The top of the bolt above the washer part was complete twisted off and I went and bought a punch and chizel set for 10 bucks and it got the damn bolt out! I did have to take the pan off first though to get a comfortable hammer swing. It took about 20 shots but it finally broke loose. The new bolt is number 24213991 and I used antiseize on it. Thanks!
