Default QTP cutout question

i just installed a qtp cutout and my questions is about the switch they provide. when i turn my truck of the switch light stays lit up- will this kill my battery over night and should i find an ignition wire to plug into. OR does everyones light just stay on?

find another wire to plug it into. and no, a little led light wont drain your battery.

I would find a wire that is only on when the key is on, if left long enough it could drain your battery, a really long time for an LED.

an LED's amp drain is so abysmal it would probably take weeks, if not months for it to have any effect. My security system has an LED status light that stays on when the system is armed and it has gone for a week without any problems. that said, i don't think you have anything to worry about.

That QTP will break before your battery will die anyway.
