Default Push rod help

As we type, Im putting my engine back together

I had my heads shaved .025 and swapped the stock cam back in. What pushrods should I use till I can get the right ones. My hardened 7.400's., or the stockers. i like the idea of having the hardened ones in there, but I know even the stockers will be a tad too long. Will using the 7.4's cause any problems, or just pre-load the lifters?
