Like the internal bolts under the rail that hold the rockers on? Anyone with pics?

use the bolt holes on the front and back of the head. cross the chain from one side of the front to the other side of the back head.

I used a plate and was very happy about the purchase. I felt more secure and the balance was perfect for pulling the motor and the tranny at the same time. Several companies make them:
