Unhappy pulling her back out.!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i have a whine from the tranny. talked to precision today and they are telling me that i need to send in the verter. they are thinking a noise from it. after we got to talking more we found that mine has more space from the flywheel than it is suppose to. and i is only hitting at 2100 to 2200. we are going to set it up to 2800 all motor. he said i will recieve a 9 1/2 inch this time. so back apart again. think i am going to get rid of the cats as well to. we will see. my saga continues.

I have a whine from mine as well only in 1st though. I was told it could be a bushing in the rear of the trans. The converter was never mentioned.

Talking about bad luck I have a half painted mustang (frame off resto) and not enough paint to finish her... oh yeah... No one can reproduce the color I bought 1.25 years ago and I have been working with PPG for over 3 months for them to match it. I'm about to call my lawyer...

Sorry about hyjacking.... I just wanted to vent...

Jeff

I have a bad whine when I let off the throttle after a hard run. I have no idea what it is, its more like a whirling noise.

Most likely. Damn thing is going to kill my tranny soon!!! Looks like they should warn people about those things adding too much hp for even a built tranny.
