Because ihave to flush the motor and i wasnt sure of which gasket was bad. Also the guy that did my cam swap tightened everything super tight with an impact so i might aswell be safe then sorry and do things right myself lol

The back bolt on the driver's side is easy if you are strong or have another person to assist. Don't try taking it all the way out, leave it in the head and take the whole head off with the bolt in it. Reverse for installing.
When cleaning bolt holes, just spraying air at the top isn't going to dry them safely. Get yourself a small rubber hose that will fit over your blow gun and down into the bolt hole, push to bottom, then spray. You might be surprised at how much is still down there after passing over the top with air.

I'm with you, if it was mine id pull off both heads while i was that far in it to replace both head gaskets and clean everything out real good.. Just take your time and use all the tips given to you in this thread and it should go smoothly.

What I did to clean out the bolt holes on a buddy's truck was made an attachment to the end of a shop vac with a funnel and a gutted clear ink pen duct taped together, it was ugly as hell but it worked awesome. the clear ink pen helped because you could tell if it was all sucked out or not.
