Looked at summit... found a pulley set for my 4.8. Seems way too expensive for having just an alternator pulley and a crankshaft pulley.

I was wondering... where is a good place to purchase these two pulleys... and What would be the belt part number? When summit said it was a "kit" i assumed it also included the belt, but it doesnt... and $225 is too much I think.

 

the ASP pulleys are the only pulleys that i know of for these trucks. i think that is the going price for the also. i haven't seen any cheaper. not unless you find them used.

you don't need the alt. pulley, just the underdrive one. and when you get it it will have the belt # with it, i do believe its a gates k060895, and k060495 for the a/c, but like i said it will come with the part #'s.
