the bullet is a muffler. its straight through so theres no performance loss. its compact design makes it a convenient and cheap alternative "resonator". basically your adding another muffler to the system to quieten it down. a bullet alone with longtubes and no cats would be raspy as hell and probably drone like a ****...

I already have the corsa touring and I'm gonna be puttin the pacesetter LTs on within the next few weeks. I hopefully won't have a problem with it being raspy. My only mods are the corsa, CAI, 160* stat, and the tune. Plus I'll be keepin my cats. We'll see though!

WHat idd oyu expect with lts, no cats and a straight through muffler?

Put a bullet in it and be done with it. I have dynatechs no cats and the sport muffler and it sounds good to me, all personal preference I guess.

I was expecting a miracle! hoping it would sound different than every other similar setup!
No really, I just wasn't sure, because I have the L33 and a different cam and the corsa touring. I haven't ever heard this combo before.

Thanks for the info on the magnaflow add on, TX.
If I get it, I will still be worried about drone.

BTW,
Does anyone have a stock catback exhaust flange, they could cut off and ship to me?
Then I could try some things easily without cutting my corsa.

If it was me I would clamp on the dynomax bullet to the outlet side of the muffler with the corsa band clamp and see how it sounds before I haacked up my intermediate pipe.

Yeah, I could try that, but I'm sure the effect would be different if it was before the muffler.
Better or worse, I don't know.

Thanks for the input guys.
I am interested in that Donaldson off road muffler too.
It's hard to find online pricing and info though.

This is the only info on any off road donalson mufflers I could find.
It does not look adjustable in any way.

Do you have a part # for yours, old motorhead? or a vendor?

Moodoo, I think I have my stock pipe somewhere. I'll ask my friend if I left it at his house. How much pipe would you need after the flange?
