I have question about tuning on these Gen III powered trucks, what is the best program for tuning. I have always sent my PCM's off to Bryan Herter @ PCMFORLESS.COM when I'd upgrade or change anything. I would like to be able to calibrate/program for head changes, cam, intake and etc. on my 94' LT-1 Impala as well as an 05' 5.3 Silverado with the same program. I don't think this is possible but thought I'd ask anyway. Also, I've read rather than modding a 5.3 it's better to just swap in a 6.0L, are there certain years that are better for these engines? If you were to do this, how would you program for the change, use the 6.0L PCM, dyno tune, or what? Thanks

HP tuners. There are tables to where you can adjust your Volometric Effiency table to adjust for a bigger motor or whatever. As far as the 6.0 01 and up is best becuase they came with aluminium heads after those years.
