I got my radiator from Parish. I don't think it has a part number on it. I've always had good luck with Peter's Chevy in Longview, or Nehls in Marshall. You want the radiator that's going in a 3/4 ton truck.

I will see what I can come up with for the pics. I also have some pics from the old truck, the big fans on a small radiator.

Those show how I modified the mounting bracket to mount those. The last one is a fat zip tie that I think is originally used for HVAC installations.

I will see if I can get some pics of them on the big radiator later today.

Yes, it had the lines ... I think it overhung on the drivers side more tan the other side. It didn't seal up perfect, but I figured they moved so much air that it couldn't hurt to bad. I will say ... it looks a lot better with the bigger radiator, and things stay cool like they should with the cooler stat in them.

i got a 160 degree stat already installed, but i since i tow a heavy covered work traile shaped like a parachute, i might need to to step up to the heavier radiator. the best price i have found is 425 new, 300 at a salvage yard.

I agree about the bigger radiator. My current 6L with larger radiator stays cooler than my 5.3 and smaller radiator. My fans don't come on very much unless I'm sitting still, and autotap registers my coolant temps in the 190 range during normal driving around town.

There have been a few radiators on ebay recently, not sure what size they were. They were going very cheap though.

hey, i got another question for you guys. i know that i have teh extra bolt holes in my frame up top to mount the radiator. but my question is, on the bottom of my stock radiator (28 in core) there are 2 legs which slip into the channel on teh bottem, does the larger radiator slide into the SAME holes? reason for askin is my radiator is moved 2 inchs forward, and those legs just happen to rest on my trucks frame, so im curious as to weather or not it will fit in the stock ones place liek that.
