Installed a check valve about 18 inches down the line from the sending unit and all is good. I read that the walbro 255 was a direct swap, but never heard that it didn't have a check valve. I know now!

Cool deal man, glad that worked out. Yea, I've read about that a lot, most guys either install the check valve or turn the key on for a few seconds to try and prime the pump first

I'm getting a code now, 'P2635 Fuel Pump "A" Low Flow / Performance'

New pump aside, might that have anything to do with the in line check valve I installed? Or else what could cause it?

This DTC sets when the FPCM detects a predetermined fuel pressure performance degradation between the desired fuel rail pressure and the current estimated fuel rail pressure.

Still wondering why you are running an aftermarket pump on a new truck?

Preparing for a TVS install, and all sources said the stock pump would be inadequate...

Well for some reason the fuel pressure at the rail is not enough to match the desired amount commanded by the PCM.

I think it is the check valve. I called magnuson and they said I don't need an aftermarket pump anyway so I'm just going to swap the old one back in.

My friend has a TVS2300 on an Escalade and 2010 Camaro, both running stock fuel pumps.

Any idea how much the stock fuel pump is good for?.....would it be possible to run the stock as well as the 255 beside it in dual setup? People do dual 255s all the time...
