Problem with Nelson fan harness please help

01, i feel ya man... it erks me that i spent the money for the dang harness and it only works with the AC, heat, or defrost on
its cold out now so the truck hardly hits 210 unless im in mc'ds drive thru for 15mins.. but summer heat is gonna suk so i have to get it fixed

i also had this same problem and i did not have the pin in the proper place...#42 pin....after pushing and pulling and bending the pin i took it to allen and he fixed it in 3 minutes....it works...just have to get it in the right place....

You guys with the problems: If your manual switch is working properly, then there is nothing wrong with the harness - the problem is in the terminal connector for the PCM.
Either it is not in the Blue pin 42 location or it is not seated properly. It is a very difficult thing to do (getting it seated properly). Check it out.

If you manually ground the blue wire that goes to pin 42 and the fans come on low, then you know that everything from there on back is OK, and either the pin isn't seated in the PCM, it's in the wrong spot, or the PCM isn't tuned to ground pin 42...or the PCM could be faulty not allowing pin 42 to ground.

I dont understand unless nelson forgot to tune the PCM for the fans. I had told him about it and I still have not heard from him about it. I double checked everything today and it is all installed right.
