Default Probably a stupid ? but...

Since our blocks have freeze plugs that screw in, can they be re-used?

Dont tell me you are gonna put used freeze plugs in the 422? I think i am going to have to come up to Chicago and bitch slap you if you are. I dont know if ours are brass or steel? I would feel better about reusing brass but the other get ate up from the antifreeze too quick to risk it. I know up there you guys get some cold weather so why not have some new ones put in. I have always had brass ones put in the motors I have built

No Red, I was just curious. I was talking to one of the guys that does our pin striping here. He has a 9sec cage car that just blew a freeze plug and I had remembered that ours screw in. No way am I going to half *** my motor now. Looks like I'll be putting her in thursday so be expecting a call with some numbers next weekend!

If they were screw in ... wouldn't they be a little more prone NOT to come out?
