Default Preferences?

I've looked over several threads of exhaust setups, but some depend on preferece. So I am looking for everyone's .02!

On:
02 RCSB LQ9

I have my truck dualed now. Pacesetters LT seems a good way to go.

Questions I have: how much trouble to allow for cats? Coated on LT the way to go? Personally like to keep it dualed, but would this be the best way to go? And because dualed looking for good Xpipe, which is best?

Emissions not big concern, looking for good sound and of course added power.

If your not worried about passing emmisions go with no cats, sounds better for 1 and a lot better flow. If you want to stick with duals def. run an x pipe. I would just have an exhaust shop fab one up. Coated tubes will hold up better, overall its the way to go especially when the coated pacesetter's are like 380$.

get a magnaflow x pipe guessing 2.5 inch or 2.25 is what your using into what ever muffler you decide. I only run corsa or bassani mufflers. I like the custom bassani mufflers I had built the best sound quality I ever had. had same setup as you but with
4x8x12 custom dual bassani mufflers, 2.5 in and out with no pipe out of the muffler. Also didn't have cats, God I loved that sound it made.
