Default Predator and Transgo w/ billet servos?

Have 02 Z71 and want to install transgo and both billet servos but dont know how will react with Predator. Know both boost line pressure and will have to probably have custom tune from Predator to work. Has anyone ran both and what were your results.

Thanks
David

I'm curious about this myself since I want to do the same to my truck. Since you have the option of modifying the predator tune I'm hoping we can change the tranny settings back close to stock and thus be able to continue using the predator with the shift kit.

If you did the billets and TransGo it might be a good idea to bring line pressure back down if you turned it up with the Pred. Put all tranny settings back to stock, get all your new parts installed and go from there. HitManX has both billets and the TransGo. It is said that removing TM (Torque management) is a must, otherwise the truck falls on its face when it shifts. The shift kit and billets magnify the effects of TM making the retard in timing more apparent between shifts. I just wouldnt go toying with line pressure on the Pred at all. That and I dont think it wouldnt be a good idea to use Tow/Haul anymore after you install the billets and TransGo. When I get the extra cash, Im gonna get both billets and TransGo.

Yeah, I have them both. TM wasn't too bad on the 1-2 but moreso on the 2-3. Also remember my truck is pretty stock so TM wasn't as bad as could be.

Chingon has both billets, TransGo, and a PI converter. TM is apparently quite bad on his truck. I think more due to the stall than anything.

Yeah Tow/Haul is BAD unless you get the line pressures back to normal with the other levels.
