How much power increase do you guys think would be seen by putting a .555/.561 222/228 on a 114 cam in a bone stock 6 liter? Just curious?

 

maybe 30 hp?

 

that a tough one because its one of those things where other mods help it out, IE: intake/manifold/long tube headers. same maybe 30 hp stock 40-45 in conjuction w/ other mods.

 

i say 40. people seem to have good luck with comp

 

I also am gonna go 40hp, especially with a good tune for it.

 

Cool then. That is the cam I already have and I am about to slide it into a brand new crate 6 liter and get this POS on the road one way or the other. I haven't had much luck with built motors so I just bought a new stock motor and I am gonna slip this cam in it and call it a done deal. The last stock 6 liter I had went 12.41 so 40 horse gain would be cool. I will post if it ever does run again.
