Default Post your DEFINITE dyno gains with LT headers

I saw the new GMHTP and their 03(?) 2wd truck only picked up 10hp with the stainless works LT headers? They saw 10 alone from just changing the exhaust.

If so, then headers are bascially wothless on these trucks if you have to pay over 800bucks for them

anyone have any bigger DEFINITE gains from LT's?

I gained 12 rwhp and around 20 rwtq. The first time I dynoed the torque was off becasue they couldnt get a accurate reading from the coil pack. But the dyno that I go to is a dynojet but it seems like it dynos numbers for some reason. A rcsb hemi 2wd only dyno 250 rwhp with a exhaust and intake! But after dynoing 2 times now its the same torque number.

I cant remember who it was on this board. But he put the Pacesetter LT's and y-pipe on and gained 16HP/17TQ. And he was still running a stock intake.

01 5.3 gained 20-25 rw across the board with his psetters.

First dyno was

-Gutted cats
-3'' magnaflow

swapped to:

-Psetters
-3'' off road duals

Don't be mistaken, there is a shitload of power in the exhaust. The exhaust ports flow well, so an efficient exhaust definetly helps. Vettes can pick up a good 35rwhp with long tubes - 3'' off road tubing and a X.

Strange that only hp numbers would show up since, as far as I'm aware, all dynos calculate hp from the TQ readings.
