i have since switched to the 05+ fans/34" rad. but when i had the ls1 fans, i used the stock fan shroud and trimmed it down and mounted the fans inside the shroud. i used all the stock mounting points, and it looked stock

Aluminum stock and stainless nuts and bolts.
The aluminum strips have a slight bend to them in order to hold the fans to the radiator.

i installed mine today... ill post up some pics ASAP..
i used 5/16" heater hose to protect the top and bottom plastic edges from the radiator.
on the bottom it actually raised it up bout 1/2" and it cover the entire core nicely..
radi-ties were used to hold the top from fallign bak like mangled suggested..

i kinda did like silver dog except i used 3" x 3" shims from work on the top and the bottom of mine fit inside the lip between the radiator and the radiator support...kinda sat in there perfect

Cool

Escallade efan install video with details using narrow radiator the easy and affordable way.

NEVER USE THE CHEAP Zip Tie method on an efan. The fan will eventually vibrate and wear holes in the radiator tubes. I have pics of a caprice I had to have the radiator repaired after about 2 years of driving it. Plus the shroud will wear the fins and tubes and cause a leak. Do it right the first time with about 1/4 inch clearance between the shroud and the radiator fins.

I used the radi-ties on mine (installed last February) and they rubbed a hole in my radiator so I'm just gonna make some brackets
