Default Ported TB?

Is it worth it? I will have all the other bolt-ons by the time the new engine goes in in august and I am wondering if it is worth doing. They claim 6-8 rwhp but they say throttle response is better too. Is it worth 65 bucks for the guys that have it?

I'll hopefully let ya know later on this week or certainly next week. I bought a unit off of Big Tex and it is getting done right now. Well, actually he should be starting on it today or tomorrow. I imagine I'll get it early next week.

Throttle response is much quicker with a ported throttle body. You'll really notice it from stop light to stop light. Make sure it's done correctly.

I did mine myself, and it seemed to make a difference. If I was in to paying for mods I can do myself, this would be one I got.

Sounds like it will go good with my nitrous kit. I was actually looking at the bo white throttle bodies I think I might do that then.
