Default Thanks

Thanks Skeet for the Harness. It is being sent off to another member for a 100% trouble free swap-in mod to the existing 944 harness.
I still am in need of a good PCM if anyone has an extra. Thanks for everyone's help...
These car's can handle alot of horsepower, They are being raced in SCCA events with the LS engines installed. I am Getting ready to send some conversion parts to a guy that just removed his LT1 and is putting in an LS3 as we speak!

Default I cheated on the swap....Hehe

Saved me about 450-500 bucks without having to buy all the Corvette accessories.....Everything from the 4.8/5.3/6.0 motors can be reused when swapping on the LS1 intake, I didn't even have to change out the harmonic balance pulley.
For my application I designed a bracket to offset the truck alternator to clear the Porsche hood. This wouldn't even be needed for the Chevy trucks with the LS1 intake swap. I will make more as I anticipate alot of orders from the Jeep guys and Camaro/Firebird folks putting in the 4.8/5.3/6.0 motors with the LS intakes.

FWIW, when looking for a PCM, get a 01+ pcm...the 99-00s had a bad issue with false knock

That's the nice thing about the genIII engines, everythings interchangeable.

Default Pm

Sent you a PM Phase.
As for PCM, I still haven't ran across one from a cable throttle 5.3L truck that had a Manual transmission. This would be plug n play. I have the harness from Skeet and the 944 harness being converted and used as the template for a full-blown stand-alone harness for the 944 with these motors....

You're not going to find one, they didn't offer the 5.3 with a manual transmission Probably going to have to get a PCM for a 5.3 with an automatic and do a segment swap for the trans. Honestly, I believe that a 4.8 PCM will work, just need to be retuned for the 5.3.
