crank sensor relearn was done today and no check engine light has come on. test said i had a miss on 1,2,3,4,6,8. relearn was done and no misfires

Glad you got it fixed.

With out the Live data, we can not see whats going on with your engine. If you would like to learn more to be able to fix your own vehicals you will need to get something more then a code reader.

What was the relearn procedure? Or was it done just using the scan tool?

it only perform by a pro scan tool like hptuner and oem scan tool ,

ok thanks. having the same problem with mine after rebuilding the 5.3 and 4l65e a few days ago.....runs fine down the road and the A/F ratio hangs around 14.7 cruising (10 ish WOT @ 3psi) but at idle its got a random miss. been searching for info for a few days with no luck other than the obvious (plugs, wires, coils, etc) will see if my local shops' scan tool will fix it tomorrow.
