Default Plug wires for LTs

I just installed my pace setters this weekend and when finished I noticed the driver's side plug boots were touching the tubes just a little bit. I am assuming the wires will eventually melt. Anyone reccomend a wire with a boot that will work with the pace setters?

my factory wires come nowhere near the headers. maybe try pushing the wire down some more to make sure the wire is all the way settled on the plug

The plug wires are definatelt fully seated, I get a positive click of the wire snapping on the end of the plug. Only the hex shaped portion beyond the heat shiel is touching the tubes. Maybe the factory wires will hold up to the heat, but I would expect them to melt once I really start getting on it and after tuning the truck. Right now I am seeing 11.9 at wot so it is pretty rich.

I noticed it too on mine. I am not worried, just check them every once and a while.
