when i tuned up my truck i used MSD wires built for the trucks and they are just fine. maybe its the LS swap? i think the MSD wires for f-bodies are slightly longer if that'll help.

:edit
I got it backwards. Trucks are longer, not the car ones.

Trucks, I was told, have longer wires than cars. However, I don't have a F-body to compare wires to my truck's.
