I had one go bad. Didnt want to go OEM, they cost too much. Didnt want cheapos. I went with some Taylor Thundervolts, but I got them cheap. Cheaper than OE wires would have cost me. These things are huge!

I upgraded wires due to a slight miss I picked up, so when i put in new plugs I threw on some Crane wires, well they suck ***, 2 fell apart while driving, truck actually ran pretty decent and still idled running on 6 cylinders. Anyway I put in the MSD's and everything is perfect, the Crane wires themselves also helped the miss go away they just sucked.

Nology Hotwires kick *** - and their claims of 2-4% more HP are real.

I had two OEM wires bad when I changed my plugs at 100K so I put MSD on for cost mainly. I looked for OEM's though. Truck runs better, no more miss, but may have had something to do with 2 bad wires.

I agreed with BlownChevy until recently.

I was forced to switch wires to account for the extra spacers when I added rollers, and bought a set of MSDs. They worked pretty well, but didn't do so well with extreme heat (fires are so fun on the dyno). Then I dropped by and talked to Roger Vinci. After seeing some info he had on the difference between Crane, MSD, and stock resistance, I put on a set of Crane Firewires and absolutely love them. I got a little better mileage, and a much smoother running truck. I've only had them a short while so I can't say the post above about them falling apart was a fluke, but I'm pretty impressed atm.

MSD superconductors are on my truck they work good I mainly replaced the stock one cause I had 150,000 miles on them and I am in the process of putting nitrous on my truck and dont want to have any problems with spark so I replaced them when I changed spark plugs. They were 62 bucks.

Anyone have the GM part number for the stockers? Wouldn't mind checking prices.
