Default Please Help! Will a C5 LS6 Throttle Body bolt up?

I have a chance to get a Ported LS6 Throttle body that is I believe a 78mm.
Will this fit on my truck and will it improve my performance or hurt me? And will the computer be ok with it if I have it tuned for it?

Alos, I have a 2002 5.3 ltr Getting a cam, custom CAI, Exhaust cut-out, Wait4Me tune, and hopefully this throttle body if it is worth it.

I don't think a DBW setup is going to work for you is it? I think it will bolt up, but I don't think it's going to work for you. If you have a 2wd with traction control you may have DBW, but even in that case I'm not sure if it would be a direct swap.

Drive by wire. LS6's don't have a throttle cable.
