Default Please help QUICK! Stuck on install, what size are the torque converter bolts, 4L60E

I'm stuck, I can 't get a good enough view even with the started off to see what size the torque converter bolts are on a 5.3 with a 4L60E. Anybody know off the top of their heads?

They are allens.....I would suggest going to the dealer and getting new ones.....$10 or 15 bucks....The new ones have a hex head on them.

They are M10/1.5 by 1 inch in length. I stripped mine when i took my trany out. Only place i found some was a building supply store. They were tempered stainless for industrial metal buildings. And costed 10 cents each.

By the way they are metric. M10 is the diameter, 1.5 is the thread size, and length is length. They are also reg. bolts, not that allen crap it came with.

Oops i misunderstood. I believe 3/8 hex will work. Or 10mm, same thing.

I'm probably too late, but for future reference the stockers are 8mm Allen heads. Definately replace them with a regular hex heads (15mm).
