Default Play Truck Cam?

I know this question gets asked all the time and I hate to be that guy but the time has come to buy a cam. All of the searching that I've done I see guys looking for good DD cams. I'm looking for a good play truck cam for a truck that will be driven on weekends and not everyday. I want a good sounding idle and I'd like to make at least 400 rwhp.

I'm doing an LQ9 6.0 swap in an OBS Extended cab short bed. I plan on running the PRC Stage 1 or 2.5 LS6 heads and I'm willing to run a 3600-4000 converter. The truck already has 3.73/TruTrac but I plan to run at least 4.10 once its all done. It may see the track a few times a year but it will mostly be a street/play truck. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

What about a torquer V2 cam. It is pretty big for your cubes but will be fun and sound good.

Yea I've been eyeing that Tourquer V2. Even looked into the V3 but its a little more aggressive. A buddy of mine runs the TR TruTorq Level 5 cam in a set up thats similar to mine, but in a regular cab. He says he loves it. The specs on it are 227/239 .614/.621 115 LSA. It seems like more of an LS3 style cam with all the exhaust duration but his truck runs pretty good. Thanks for yalls input.

The 244/248 .612/.615 112 lsa I just pulled out of my daily driver truck was a really good cam. 4.56 gear and 3200 converter drive on the street and pull a boat just fine..

Custom cam? All the info you just gave is about all I gave over the phone to Geoff at EPS and since I ordered the cam from him he did'nt charge the typical $25 fee...Just a thought

I've considered doing a custom cam. I know Geoff knows what he's doing but I would feel more comfortable going with an "off the shelf cam" which has been proven. I still may go with a custom grind. Decisions decisions...
