When did Chris get Edit for trucks? Looks like I need to give him a call back.

MTI is not set up for trucks yet as far as I know. But it won't hurt to call and ask.

OH, and BTW, it will probably run over $300 anywhere you go.

Called MTI and spoke with Wayne.
He said he's got a guy named Jason that will tune the truck if you buy the Edit Program. Cost is $150.00 + the EDIT Program. Cost is more to tune with nitrous.

He said they may be getting into trucks in the future, and he is beginning research.

The programmer for trucks is $15,000, which is why they haven't dipped into it yet!

Hopefully they will soon because he said he has seen a rise in performance trucks and if it stays that way, they'll probably start investing in truck performance.

im am set up with jason to go and get mine tuned for 200 thats a tune and a couple of dyno runs
here was his email

Daniel,

I can probably assist you in tuning your truck but I will need to see the software after you get it up and running on your lap top. I will need about 1 weeks notice to schedule a tuning session with your truck. My fees are $200. which will include a few pulls on the dyno. E-mail me once you get everything situated on the truck and we'll schedule a time.

Thanks -

Jaysoon - MTI
good luck

$200.00 isn't bad, but $500 sucks for buying the software.

Jayson is the Owner. He is one of the top tuners in the biz. I know almost everyone there. The 15k for Edit is for the unlimited version that is not VIN locked. That's a big investment, and the price per tune (with free retunes and changes) will probably be in the $500 range like the cars. Still worth it IMO. You can do some major damage with LS1Edit if your not careful.

$500 would be well worth it to me too to have MTI tune it.

So far, Speed Demon motorsports is the only other shop that will do it. The guy there told me to buy a license from LS1 EDIT and he'll do it.
What is the difference between a license and buying the actual program?

Anyone have any good experience with this place?
Or should I just go with Jason from MTI tuning my truck ($700.00 total)?
