Ok, I think that is respectable. 243 heads are all over the place.

Here is a L33, its a gen3 and does have flat tops, did have 243's before I sold them. The LM4 is a 03-04 Trailblazer/SSR 5.3 that is a aluminum block and can also be used in the 99-06 trucks.



I am currently working on a 5.3 bored 20 over, if nobody buys it I will finish it with flat top pistons and see what it makes on a engine dyno. My friend and I have a bet going over how much it will make.

Looks pretty clean. Why just 20 over and not 30 over? Just curious.

Because I won a new set of 20 over pistons on ebay for real cheap, so therefore the block had to be 20 over. Very rarely do I ever buy parts retail, I keep an eye out on ebay for people that have given up on projects and sell stuff cheap. Also got a brand new crank in the GM box for $125 on the internet.
