I just bought a 2011 GMC Sierra RCSB 4wd 5.3L-6L60E and want to ask you guys honestly, should I drive it nice and easy for a couple hundred or thousand miles or haul @$$??? I will replace the oil for royal purple as soon as I get it, will install 4.10's because it has 3.42's and magnaflow catback and probably airaid cai or volant.. Btw who can tune it?

 

Break it in the way you're gonna drive it.

 

what are the goals/purposes of this truck? with the 6l80 your first gear is gonna be really short with 4.10s...I would probably drive it easy for a couple hundred miles/not thousands. Then haul @$$...

Goals.. I wish I can get my hands on a 6.2L, cam it, procharge it and stall it.. But not for the first 2 years when the warranty covers it.. I already talked with the guys at the dealer and they say they are cool with the upgrades I mentioned in my first post..
I live in Sonora Mexico.. Two hours from the Arizona border and I spend a lot of time in Tucson Az and phx because I'm in the outfitting business.. What gear ratio should I go with??
