I'm sure this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it. How do you wire a permacool fan? I get the power, ground, but wiring to A/C Clutch has me lost. Thanks for any help, you would think three wires would be easy.

Where is this fan going? Is it just going to be run off a switch, on all the time with ignition?

However it is going to be used I'm sure you will want to wire it up with some relays. You can use one relay as a trigger from the green AC wire (either + or - depending on what you need).

It's going on a '01 1500 HD. I had it on a '01 C3 but it's been off awhile and don't remember where last wire went. I came with relay or termastat built in with three wires, Power (w/fuse), ground, and blue wire for A/C but clueless on where it goes. It has probe for radiator insert so I guess it's on as needed

the blue wire splices into the ac control wire inside the fuse block under the hood. I dont remember which wire it was but i will look in a little while and post back up

If you have a wiring diagram you can tap into the a/c clutch from the fuse box, but if not, look at the a/c pump itself, on top there is a plug with two wires, green and purple i think. the green is the one you want. the wire is way down there but if its anything like my tahoe, the wire runs underneath the pump and you can easily access it from under your truck,

I tried to run blue wire to the #10 a/c fuse under hood and fan just runs none stop. I haven't tried green wire on compressor. I would rather try fuse box if possible.

OK I've connected my extra wire(remote?)to the green wire on the a/c. Now does this mean that the fans won't work unless the a/c is on? Because that is what it looks like to me.
