Default Perfect heads for 4.8 with Comp 212/218??

I'm trading in my 5.3 ECSB on the new Regency RST Conversion GMC. Really cool truck but the only thing I am a little disappointed about is it only comes in a 4.8. It already has a KN Intake, JBA headers and a flowmaster catback. Comes with a 5 speed too!! I will be removing the 212/218 low lift, UDP, E-fans and 918's before I trade the old truck in. I also will be installing a 160 stat, plugs, wires, custom tune and 4:10 gears. I want heads but have no idea which ones to choose. It will be daily driven and hope for maybe 350-380 rwhp. Can you please suggest some head choices? Thanks in advance.

if your planning on 350-380 rwhp your going to need alot more then just heads. I would spend the money on a radix instead if your trying to get to those numbers.

I agree. If you are hoping for anything near that you are going to need a blower and a good setup (cam, heads, and a great tune) or a motor swap. Getting good power isnt easy or cheap, although the best part is getting there

Okay, maybe 350-380 rwhp is a little ambitious for a NA 4.8. I am not looking to Radix it until the warranty runs out, then blower or 402/408 stroker. Still have a while to decide. Still no one has really answered the base question in my post and that is what heads will work well the 4.8 with the Comp 212/218? Should I just have MTI rework/PP the stock heads or what??? Thanks

I agree with ya Deckhand! This will be the 3rd GenIII/LS1 I've built/had and have pretty much figured out how to make them haul *** from just working on them out of my garage at home. Just can't seem to decide on heads for the 4.8. Did look at the Patriot 5.3 Stage II heads, look like they should compliment the cam well AND they are on special this week at $1295, no core exchange!! Any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
