I am looking at only long tube headers. I have read in some posts that the Dynatech seem to be a little too close to the frame. I would really like to hear your feedback on the longtube headers (Pacesetter,Flowtech,Dynatech, Stainless works). They are going to be going on a 5.3.

thanks, Brandon

My Dynatechs are tight but don't touch. I like the fact that I did not have to weld anything.

My Pacesetters fit tight but they still fit without rubbing anything. I am more than happy with them.

AS&M headers fit well also. I would go with Pacesetters if I did it over again there much less exspencive.

real close, but they don't touch. The only other thing you have to watch for it the plug wires on the drivers side. Completly bolt in though.

thanks for all of the replies, I am basically still deciding between the pacesetters and the dynatechs, I know there is a pretty steep price difference but one made out of stainless and the other is not. I wonder why the dynatechs are tight on one side? You think for a $1,000.00 set of headers they would fit perfect. I put a set of dynatechs on a 2001 camaro and they did fit perfect.

They don't, or didn't have a C.A.R.B sticker when I bought mine. They are not emissions legal in CA.
