Default PCV Delete??

What would be the disadvantages of changing both valve cover breathers to small K@N filters?
I have the passenger side plugged on the TB right now so I don't lose boost, but that creates a vacuum leak only having the drivers side hooked up to the intake.(through the pass side valve cover, through the crankcase, and out the drivers side cover into the manifold unmeasured)
I did have a checkvalve on the pass side but this created extreme vacuum in the crankcase.
Will doing breathers on both sides cause any problems that I'm not aware of?

thanks, Rob

As long as the new motors can handle ambient pressure in the crankcase you should be fine, if the valve seals require vacuum to seal you may have a problem though...and you won't know that until you try it, you will use oil if the seals require vacuum .... and you wont be able to pass a smog check with the K&N breathers
