What does a filter inside the catch can do? Wouldnt it still let the oil drain to the bottom of the can and allow air to pass through the top if there wasn't one?

I haven't really looked into these lately. I want something nice too but not with an outrageous price and no shipping options like AMW. UPS will tack on an extra $40 for customs paperwork whereas the post office only charges $5. All kinds on ebay. But difficult to judge quality. Contacted one eBay seller so far but got no response.

Chopper Brent, your catch can link didn't work and mine was wrong too... like a lot of the stuff that I "home brew" . I'm not on the list for best fabricators on the block.

This one works, www.pingelonline.com do a search and type in part #62084. That is the one I bought. 6" long 2" diameter, nice drain. Made for Harley's. Edit: I just noticed that it says nothing about a bracket. I may have screwed up. ?? or Edit: NO BRACKET!

Got the can from Pingel and sent it back. In the pics it looked to be polished but it was not polished... just plain gray aluminum and I didn't like it. So... the search goes on.
