Default pcm question...

Will a truck even start and run with a pcm with the wrong VIN in the programming as long as it came from the same year/make/model truck?

it should isn't that how Nelson does his mail order tunes. He sends you one and you ship him yours.

It will start. But only after you do the security re-learn outlined on NelsonPerformance.com. It takes about 30 minutes or so.

Mine is a different year and vin # and started with no problem. Didn't have to do the security thing.
