Default PCM number

Ok I'm wanting to get an 02 PCM out of a salvage yard or some where before I get my Tunners. I had a guy tell me that I will need the numbers off of my pcm thats in my truck (99). I look and all of the numbers have seemed to have gotten wet and now I cant read them. So now what do I do?

So when I look for one I need to look for the 1220411 Number right? Or do I need to look up the one for the 99/00? I mean it makes sense to find the one for 01/02 but just makeing sure. Thanx!

I have been told if you want to improve your 99-00,you have a 02 vin flashed in the 99-00 PCM,the improvment is in the flash not the PCM.
