Hi I own a 2000 chev silverado with the 5.3. I called a couple of paxton dealers to see if I could get a mounting bracket for my engine. I was told if it doesn't specify my vehicle then no. They have one for the 6.0, I believe there the same block just different displacement, correct me if i'm wrong. I have access to a good deal on a supercharger but I need to know if I can mount it. Does anybody know if I can get one or if there are plans from somebody that has fabbed one up themselve? I was gettin no answer out of the forced induction section so i'll try my luck in here?

 

I got a 5.3 and a 6.0lQ9 and the only difference is the valves and the cam and bore their are nothing else is different on the two motors. Infact you can bolt the same motor up in the same spot as the other one. Yes, you can do this but if you don't wont to take a chance tell me. What kind of price can you get on this paxton?
