Default parts ordered rwhp estimates?

I ordered a comp 112/118 -114 lsa (low lift)
a circle d 3200
Still need to order valuetrac 4.10 master install kit
ls6 springs
hardened prs
Efans
Doug thorley headers
BB tune

All on a 04 GMC 4.8L k&n cai, ram air
4l60e Corvette servo
its not much but its all I can afford at the time

You mean a 212/218 low lift cam.

Kinda hard to guesstimate and many factors can change this but I will guess 285 RWHP to 300 RWHP on the high side and 270 RWTQ - 275 RWTQ.

Some dynos dyno higher than others. Dynojet dynos typically dyno higher than lets say a mustang dyno but it all depends on what version / how new the dynojet is. Also temp / weather conditions and your DA (density altitude), Big / heavy rims and tires, how high you spin the engine, etc can all play a factor in your numbers.

P.S. Don't get too hung up on dyno numbers, go and take it to the track and get some times.

Take it to the track before you install everything to get some baseline times to compare to once you have everything installed. Right now I'd say you would run about a high 15 low 16 depending on track, elevation, weather, is your truck a regular cab, extended cab or Crew? 2wd or 4X4?

I still say 290-305rwhp

FYI buy one of these, it will be your best friend.


Also going to need to need


and 5/16 dowel rods to hold lifters, unless you want to get the 16 pin magnets

a good alternative to the flywheel lock tool (the first one pictured), is a heavy duty chain with two S-hooks. Wrap one end around the lower A arm and hook the other end to the balancer. It will keep the balancer from moving when you remove the balancer bolt.
