Default Paging GMChas LS1 (Truck hybrid)

I saw your truck at the Spring Break Shootout, I was wondering how it was running and if you had an internally stock engine? I heard you were going 13.9 or something.

It runs real strong. It is internally stock, just dual exhaust , tuning and a shift kit. I ran some 13.8s at the shootout. I have a best of 13.7 at HRP. I hope to get a Yank stall soon and cut down on the times some more. Man I should be asking you about Project Dragula, 746RWHP!!!!!!

Jeff's truck is such a sleeper! Body's straight and paint is great. It's quite silent at idle and sounds damn good under acceleration! It's how I see my F-150 being aside from the nice paint...I already have the motor now just waiting for heads.

I think it weighed around 4100 when I was weighing it, sound right?

Truck is whisper quiet and I am sure you have killed some unsuspecting drivers.

Hell yeah Chas, that truck is sweet. Been thinking of getting an early 80's shortbed and doing the same. What tranny you running? I figure I'll go with a 4L80E, not sure about motor though...LS1 or 6.0 (~380ci).

Allen's truck has an LS1 in it as well. You might talk to him about it PSJ. His runs pretty strong.

I gotta say ... that is one nice ride. I dang sure wouldn't expect it to pull 13's off either.

I'm running the 4L60E. I like the weight savings on the LS1. 6.0 would work fine too.

4080LBS that day at the track. All my kills are at the track. No one will run me on the street. Maybe it looks a little too sleeper, or no one gives it a second thought lol!

Just put a big sticker on your back window that says "HEMI'S SUCK!!!".
Maybe that would attract some attention.
