Hey...Does that souped up Bedrug of your have Rack-and-Pinion steering or Recirculating-Ball ??....if it has Rack-and-Pinion would you be willing to takle pictures of the mounting points and steering knuckles

I ask because I am curious if the R&P steering from the 2wd trucks can be converted for use on the 4x4's....if the SS has it I will buy those steering components for the conversion

i am 99.9% sure it is the same as the rest of the trucks, not rack and pinion.

i looked under one at the dealer to see if it was the same and it looked just like what i have but i wasn't looking spacificly at the steering. it has tortion bars, and cut down bump stops.

 

oh well......there goes that idea

 

Sorry, the SS has the same torsion bar setup as the 1/2 ton Z71.
