Is there still room to put the stock cats back in with these headers?

My pacesetters sound like there is a leak under acceleration. Like a tinny sound. I open the hood dont hear anything, and dont see any discoloring from the flange, but it sounds like a leak. Is that just the way longtubes sound?

Mine is louder, but not all that much louder than before. My truck was quiet to begin with because of the big borla muffler I have. Ill be switching to a 14" magnaflow soon .

mine seems to pull alot harder all the way through used to above like 4000 it seemed to fall off now it still seems to pull. yeah mine is alittle louder before on a scale of 1-10 it was about a 5 now it is like maybe 7-8 not to bad but i love it so do all the f-body's that helped me install really love it, not normal for a truck around here.

hey guys - wanted to chime in as well. got my pacesetters and y-pipe in yesterday. luv that tinny header sound. it actually quieted mine down considerably. i have the magnaflow 4x9x14, 3"/dual 2.5", and it was way loud with the manifolds, and rasp out the ***. now it is actually kind of quiet and no drone. i didn't lose anything down low and definately gained up top. definately a thumbs up for the pacesetters. now gotta get hpt to tweak the tune.

Yeah, your truck does have that hairball sound. Kinda hard to hear over the chick in the Cavalier screaming "we don't want to race you."
