Any STEEL slip fit will more then likely be a pita if it gets wet, rusted. Only time I rec a slip fit is on stainless app's. I have stainless pipes with slip fit joints, have had no issue pull them off and on, have been in the weather for years.

you lose hp with the flows. I've seen a dyno where someone LOST something like 10 hp by going to flowmaster. Gained 15 when he switched to a magnaflow. Im going to have to see if I can find it.

Just dropped the truck off at the exhaust shop. The guy said the flanges would be better. Easier to remove if needed. Also looks like there will not be enough room for the cutout. The 4x4 crossmembers will be in the way. So I'm not going to use it. Should sound and look nice when its done. I got a before vid this morning. I'll get an after vid when its done.

This is gonna be pretty sweet. I'm curious how your truck will like the bigger exhaust as it is now... I want to swap to a single 3.5" with a turn down and a cut out on mine after I get the heads on.

Still at the exhaust shop. This new shop is a work of art. Will post pics after the install. Turns out the muffler I got is a little to big. Lol. So I had to go home and grab the 14" muffler smokeshow sold me two years ago.
