They are sometimes hard to get off of the plug....be VERY careful when taking them off. Use dielectric grease on them to help with that.

Hey, which wires are those (I know taylors, but which wire width). I have a couple of mine just barely touching my headers and would like to swap them out.

Here are the ones I was choosing from at summit's site.
Summits Choices

Ok, back on topic. I like my pacesetters.

I was pissed at my Taylor wires on my old truck. The plug boots split around the area where they have the T-emblem and were leaking spark. Other than that crappy fancy boot they put on, the wires were fine. I would get MSD wires over the Taylors for that reason alone, but that's just my opinion.

There weren't that many choices when I got mine.

I believe that they're the 8mm ones...at least that's what it looks like it says in the pic. I don't know if I still have the box for them or not.

To be honest, the issue with the wires coming apart when you take them off REALLY pisses me off. I've been thinking about getting another set, probably MSD's. But these fit good so I don't want to risk them not having just as nice a fitment as the Taylors.

The MSD's that I have are 3-4 yrs old now and have been removed countless times and they still work great. Can't speak for Taylor, never used them.

I can't speak for my Taylors either, only had them on for about 2 months now. I have removed the driver's side quiet a few times due to header issues. BUT, with the grease I don't have issues for now. However, I will note, they fit on TIGHT! Which I'd imagine is their down fall if you pull them off by the wire itself. I don't have a plug tool, but I'd imagine it'd help alot if you remove your wires alot. I have the Thunder 50ohm series and they feel like so much of a better quality wire than any other I have used (MSD including others). Not knocking the others, hell at our level...they don't help much w/performance any way. So get what works for ya.

How's that for off topic?

What's the average going rate for Pacesetters anyway? coated?
