I have one boot that barely touches on the driver side and I left it like that and after 2 months it still looks brand new. if only the head design used a GenI 90* spark plug hole vs. the angled holes like the GenIII's have. oh well, it works

Been about 6 months since the last set I installed and the wires are perfect, no marks/burns.

wires are all different lengths, one of my taylor sets touched and the other didnt....this is what i did with the ones that touched.

it worked. but you can also get spark plug boot covers that will stand constant contact up to 1200*F. made of fiber glass. i have those now

i just re used the steel boot covers that came stock until i got the good boot prtectors

I had to shave the rubber boots down just a little bit. I ran one wire around the dipstick tube, and zip-tied the rest that touched. LOL. I need to buy some wires becuase mine is rigged right now.
