Default pacesetter lt`s w\nelson tune prob.

ok i got an 05 rcsb with basic bolt ons and pacesetter longtubes and there ORY with a magnaflow catback and i just got a nelson tune and put the PCM back in yesterday and been driving it about and it keep throwin the same SEC code over and over i told nelson that i have headers and ORY so hey did his thang the code it keeps flashing it "catalist efficency below threshold bank 1 & 2" can anyone tell my why its doin this?? and it seems to only happend when i get on it threw 1st & @nd thanx for the help...

Did you tell Nelson that you were going to delete the Catalitic Converters? If not that might be your problem.

yeah i filled out that tune sheet and i had to mail him my pcm being its an 05 and i talked to him on the phone b4 he tuned it and went over everything..so yeah i told him i hope i dont have to mail it to him again ..

You might want to call Nelson just to make sure that he did delete the rear o2 sensor, Hopefully somebody else will chime in who might know more.

If you're getting those codes, the rear O2's are still turned on and doing their thing...no biggie. Nelson can tune em out for ya.

yeah but that will involve me payin for shipping both ways again which was $80 and ill have to find a ride to work.. o well..u gotta pay to play..thanx anyone else wanna chime in..

it feels strong for a bolt on 4200lbs truck...im happy with it what yall guys think ill run in the 1\8 and 1\4 in florida...its a 05 rcsb 5.3l auto with 3.73 g80 intake lt`s ORY magnaflow catback and ASP pullies...and of corse a nelson 93 hot tune... with just intake and the catback it ran a 9.7 @ 74mph in the 1\8 with a 2.20 60ft.. anyone know??

o yeah and i talked to nelson and he told me he did forget to tune my rear 02s off.. so im glad thats all it is...
