Default Pacesetter collectors at different angles?

Got the headers in tonight. I think I'll be able to squeeze the cats in above the crossmember just barely. We'll see. I have to start fabbing up some pipes tomorrow. Here's my question though. The passenger side is perfect, horizontal to the ground and pointing directly at the opening above the cross member. The drivers side is a different story. It's pointing at about the middle of the cross member. I think I can make up for it with the angle of the cats, but I'm not sure. Is this typical of this, or are my headers somehow different?

that's all correct, the pacesetter wye pipe would turn off the driver side header and pass directly in front of the cross member and join with the passenger side before passing the crossmember, that's the design.... sounds like you want something custom, which allways requires creativity. get with z284thgen, he did a true dual setup with the pacesetters successfully

meatwad just did pacesetter's with a custom y pipe with cats. The angle of the pacesetter's is correct, I bolted mine up this weekend and they were at different angles....and different lengths as well. meatwad may have some pics of his y pipe, but I don't know. Maybe he'll chime in.

mine is the same way.. i just angled it slightly upward more, but i didn't go over the crossmember, so i didn;t have to angle it a whole lot.

Pic is taken from driver side. See how the y-pipe is angled down and is nearly horizontal on the passenger side. Some might be from the angle of the picture, but its all I got.

Cat was too long on the driver side to put that cat over the crossmember.

Hmm, that's another option, it looks like I might juuuuuust be able to squeeze that cat in there. I'll have to see thought. Is taht 2.5" pipe you have shown there? Looks like a factory cat which has 2.5" piping at that point.
