Wondering if anyone has this system and how it sounds. Happy with it? Unhappy? Seems like a good price. A sound clip would be great if anyone's got one. Considering a cat-back system to replace my single in dual out muffler. If i change it i think i'm gonna go with one or possibly two tips, but out the passenger side in the back behind the rear tire.

 

Pacesetter is the biggest crap on the market as far as exhaust systems. Their headers, cat backs, etc. Will all rust out within a year. The welds are bad, the paint (on the headers) will peel off when it reaches 150F . Advice in exhaust, esepecially headers, Cheap=Bad quality. Don't even look at the PaceSetter name...Period!

Thanks for the warning, i guess that's why they are so cheap.

 

That used to be the case and may still be on some of their products but the F-bod guys are loving their longtubes and ypipes. I have three friends that have installed them on their cars and they look and fit great. However I have no other experiances with Pacesetter products.

 

They may look good now, but give it a couple months and report back.

I had a pacesetter catback on my 95z28. Sounded very good(also had heads and cam so that might have helped), the fit was just ok, and the weld to one of the exhaust pipes broke within a year. I would honestly go with something else if you are going to do it.
